Our network of registered Psychiatrists and Psychologists are all in good standing with their respective designated bodies. Our Psychologists are registered with the HCPC and our Psychiatrists are registered with the UK General Medical Council (GMC). They cover case types from Immigration and Asylum to Court of Protection to Complex Negligence Claims and Criminal Matters.
Mind Professionals engages with Psychiatrists who are specialist trained across a broad range of psychiatric disciplines nationally; specialist members of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and Approved Clinicians under the Mental Health Act in England and Wales.
The disciplines under which our experts fall, includes but is not limited to; General Adult Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry, Neuropsychiatry, Child Psychiatry, Intellectual Disability Psychiatry.
Within the field of psychiatry, our experts provide assessments that address conditions such as PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Psychosis, Personality Disorders, Bi-Polar Disorder, Schizophrenia and Schizo-affective Disorders and Autism.
Many of our psychiatrists work within Medium and Low Secure Units, Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) and High Secure Forensic Hospitals – such as Rampton and Broadmoor. Within this, our Consultant Psychiatrists are approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act and as such are recognised as experts in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions.
As with Psychiatry, Mind Professionals engages with HCPC Registered Psychologists across a wide range of psychological disciplines - many are additionally registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) as Expert Witnesses in their specialised disciplines. Our experts are able to cover the entirety of England and Wales.
Our experts cover Clinical Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Educational Psychology, Neuropsychology and Occupational Psychology for Adults, Older Adults, Children and Adolescents. Their case types include psychological assessment and psychometric testing for matters of Mental Health and Psychological Wellbeing, Capacity, Cognitive Functioning, Forensic Risk Assessments, Attachment, Personality Profiling, Sex Offending, Learning Disability Assessments, Traumatic and Acquired Brain Injuries, Neuro-developmental Disorders among others within the UK Civil and Criminal Courts and Tribunals.
Our psychologists work clinically within low, medium and high secure settings nationally. This affords them expertise with patients from a variety of ethnicities, backgrounds and cultures
